Who we are

ZenED123 LLC ("ZenED123", "we") builds La Tribu Connect, a bilingual (English/Spanish) parent-school communication platform for Montessori and community schools. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Contact details you share with us directly, such as your name, email address, school affiliation, and role (parent, teacher, or administrator) when you request a demo or contact us.
• Platform account data provided by your school, such as account credentials and the messages you send through La Tribu Connect.
• Basic usage data, such as pages visited, needed to keep the service fast and secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Children's and student data

La Tribu Connect is designed for school use, so we hold ourselves to the strictest applicable standards:

• FERPA: where we handle student education records, we act as a school official under FERPA and process that data only on behalf of the school, at its direction.
• COPPA: we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except through schools that have obtained verifiable parental consent. Parents may contact us to review or delete their child's information.
• TDPSA (Texas): we honor opt-out and deletion requests from Texas residents and never sell sensitive data.

Our security and data-handling practices were reviewed through independent security and legal compliance audits before launch.

How we use and share information

We use the information above only to provide and improve La Tribu Connect, respond to you, and keep the service secure. We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the service under strict confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.

Data security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and review our practices regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting school and family information is our first priority.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Schools control the data for their communities; parents can always reach us directly through the contact below.

If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
